Adventure Landing
Adventure Landing is a group of amusement parks located in Florida, New York, North Carolina and Texas. The first park was opened in Jacksonville Beach, Florida in 1995 & other Adventure Landing parks opened up in later years. Adventure Landing also manages and operates several other family entertainment centers throughout the United States. Adventure Landing currently runs 9 amusement parks nationwide. Various locations offering go-karts, mini-golf, arcades, batting cages, and laser tag, some with water parks, known for creating family fun with various rides and games, though some locations, like the original Jacksonville Beach, have closed, while others, like the Dallas location, have been acquired for future park development. The brand has existed since 1995, providing classic amusement park experiences.
The original location followed this multi-attraction formula and featured a Rock-afire Explosion animatronic show, placing it among the growing number of non-pizza family entertainment centers that adopted the Rock-afire characters after the ShowBiz era. The animatronic show was eventually removed as tastes shifted. The Jacksonville Beach location became a long-running local landmark before ultimately closing after nearly three decades of operation.
